Yeah yeah, I vanished, i'm getting pretty good at the whole vanishing act deal. What's there to say, I got busy, life got overwhelming and I hit a few brick walls head on while I was at it, nice eh?

I forgot how good it was using DA, lots of friends (sorry i never got back to your notes, ill try and do that tonight) but yeah, good place to vent and just chill in my spare time sometimes so I'm here, again, like Aids, you can't get rid of me :P

The thing is, it is more suspicious that iamjero's gallery is full of art from other websites and makes sense that he is stealing them than to claim that all those other artists are comming on to his dA site and stealing 'his' work. The sad thing is, probably most of the artists whose work is in his gallery don't even know that its been stolen.

I suppose a big problem for your friend is that the image of the violin that you have linked... it doesn't have a date on it. Same for the pictures of the yacht.

And I could be wrong here of course but the release date for the winners of that yacht was in December 2008. Where as his was posted in November.

Since I know that some of his work is original I just find it odd that he would steal the other pieces that you are referring to, he's an arse, this is true. But since I have spoken with him many many times in the past and I know how annoying, cocky and frustrating he can be I also know how someone might want to frame him and ruin his rep. Not that he overly cares about his rep on here. Another reason why I don't think he'd steal it. He never came in the chatroom to come and show off the art. Usually it was to come in and get ideas from people.

If you look further into the portfolio the person provides many more images than he has, along with close ups and orthographic views of the violin. Like I said some of this may be his but alot of them are not. The big red firefighting robots were in a gallery at my school. I can tell you who made them, the process and what they are made out of. Its just sad really, its a shame if he was actually good, but those dont belong to him one bit. They are ripped off of College for Creative Studies students. And its even more sad if hes claiming in this much depth that hes done them.

If you have ever spoken with this guy you will know that he is perhaps quite arrogant. However, he has advised many 3D people on DA. Is knowledge on 3D programs and techniques is very good. He has personalised 3D things for me, edited them the way that I have suggested.

Before you go and spam a profile or deviation of a person that you do not know stop and think of the damage you might be doing and how pathetic it makes you look.

we're providing the links to the original work. Are you saying all of those people stole from HIM then?

And thats the problem. He wont talk to us. he wont defend what he claims to be his, dont you think you'd be a little upset about someone wrongfully accusing you of something?

If we're right, and he DID steal our friends project, that he worked on all semester and entered into competitions with, are you going to feel kind of silly?

:) Ofc I wouldn't feel silly for standing up for someone that I don't think is an art theif.

However, I have seen the 2 links posted to other peoples work, I gotta say, I felt disappointment. I don't if he an art thief, but I know that his knowledge in 3D is amazing, I also know that some of the stuff he did make because he made it as a request for me, and even edited it when i said "hmm.. no I don't like that colour, it should be this one." or "I'd like to see that from another angle" So I have no idea wtf with the art copies, they clearly are the same as the ones you linked. But it doesn't change my opinion of him as an artist.

Stealing is stealing, so i hope it does change your opinion at least a little bit.
